Stahlnetz is a German television series.

A prisoner of war is sentenced to 25 years in the Soviet Union. His escape from the Soviet gulag takes him through the intense and hopeless terrain of Siberia.

Italian frogman and scientist Paolo Rocello is found dead on a houseboat. The owner of the boat, Mr. Cooper, has disappeared without a trace. The English boarding school town of Medlow is now in turmoil. Of all people, the likeable boarding school teacher David Henderson is increasingly suspected of murder. This is because Katherine Walter, the niece of Dr. Sheldon, saw him on the boat on the day of the murder. However, Dr. Sheldon himself also becomes a suspect. Inspector Ford and Sergeant Broderick are in the dark – until another murder occurs and a completely new perspective on the events emerges...

Sherlock Holmes (Ernst Fritz Fürbringer) and Dr. Watson (Harald Mannl) start things off, followed by Auguste Dupin, David Wilson, Father Brown, Inspector Bucket, Sergeant Cuff and Hercule Poirot. Every episode of this early crime series in the early days of television was still broadcast live. It could hardly have been more irregular: it was broadcast in loose succession on different days at different start times in prime time, and the length of the broadcast varied between 25 and 50 minutes.

Die Muminfamilie was a West German television series released from 1959 to 1960 that was based on the Moomin books by Tove Jansson. It was filmed in black and white and broadcast by ARD. It was notably the first television series ever to be made based on the books. It was also the first TV-series produced by Augsburger Puppenkiste. In all, 12 episodes were made.
