Updates
What's new in Flickfolio. Currently on v1.29.0.
v1.29.0
The logging overhaul
New
- Heart prints on the Board, pin backdrops from any title's pencil, and download drawings as GIFs.
Improved
- Drawing on a backdrop no longer pins it — it stays a draft until you choose to pin it.
v1.28.0
Anime themes
New
- Every theme is now free, with ten new 2000s anime ones — and Pro members can make their own.
Improved
- Logging is simpler: one pencil — on every poster and title page — walks you through a film, a show, a season or an episode.
Fixed
- The search page no longer jumps down a moment after it opens.
v1.27.0
Shark week
New
- Sharks that bite posters, critters you can fling by the tail, and two new Pro cases, a popsicle and a bento box.
Improved
- Favourite stars, mutual hearts and 5-star ratings now glitter like a gem-mint card, and the pocket pet's picture is sharp.
Fixed
- Tabs appear right where you click, and scrolling feeds and profiles no longer jump at the footer.
v1.26.1
Graphics update
Improved
- Photos, posters and 3D cases are now crisp and sharp, while effects and critters keep their pixel charm.
Fixed
- Long stats like Collections no longer run into their numbers on display cases.
v1.26.0
The Board
New
- Doodle on your scrapbook backdrops and pin other people's drawings (credited) from the Board — a moodboard with no leaderboards or counts.
Improved
- Header effects can be your favourite background effects, and shared links preview as PictoChat cards in your theme.
Fixed
- Every background effect's tile in the customize panel now plays its animation.
v1.25.0
Quick log
New
- Pin film and show backdrops to a new scrapbook tab on your profile, and pick display cases for title pages.
Improved
- Choosing any poster for your films and shows is now free, plus evenly sized 3D cases and better recommendations.
Fixed
- Rating stickers show on the back of every display case, and switching between Default and Custom no longer mixes the two looks.
v1.24.0
Flan
New
- A new Flan display case: a little polaroid set in caramel flan that jiggles when you spin it.
Improved
- Watchlists are now Collections, film and show pages get clearly labelled buttons, and the photo booth is tidier.
Fixed
- The SEASONAL sticker follows your unsaved Custom preview, and person pages show your favorite and rating stickers.
v1.23.3
Custom starts everyday
Improved
- Switching a look to Custom starts from Flickfolio's everyday look, not the season's.
Fixed
- Constellations wear your theme's own colours, so the rating orbits show on light themes too.
v1.23.2
Previews stay put
Fixed
- Leaving a list mid-preview no longer carries its unsaved theme onto the next page.
v1.23.1
Lists, always up to date
New
- Tap a film or show's Flickfolio score to see how everyone rated it, half-star by half-star.
Improved
- Lists and the welcome wizard follow Flickfolio's seasonal look, and switching Default and Custom swaps cleanly.
Fixed
- On iPhone, sheets stay above the keyboard; new lists appear in add-to-list instantly; invites can be answered from notifications.
v1.23.0
Doodles in the feed
New
- Doodles show on feed reviews with their own Doodles view, and every doodle palette gets two new colours.
Improved
- Notifications, the home features and the About page get the PictoChat message look, and filters apply when you tap done.
Fixed
- Signing out keeps the seasonal theme, new profiles follow the default look, and spinning display cases no longer crackle.
v1.22.0
Throw the decorations
New
- Holiday themes and three holiday display cases — a snow globe, gift box and chocolates — plus holo stickers and flip surprises.
Improved
- Every customize tab has Default or Custom — Default wears Flickfolio's seasonal looks — plus a 3D home logo and Snowy Field.
Fixed
- Saves never get stuck on an unfixable error, list counts add up, and the alerts badge clears once you've looked.
v1.21.1
PictoChat-style controls
New
- Every sound rings with a dreamy PS2-style echo, flung posters catch the wind and pop your click sparkle where they collide, and drinks, cards and coins clink.
Improved
- PictoChat-style pixel icons, popups, writing pads and loading dots, pages load far lighter, and headers ease in one piece at a time.
Fixed
- GIF profile pictures and GIFs move again, retro critters and the logo show on iPhone, and frames fit review cards.
v1.21.0
Doodles, and quicker pages
