The Virtues of Harmony II is a long-running TVB television series, which follows its first series, Virtues of Harmony, a series set in Ancient China. This new, second series of the Virtues of Harmony is set in Modern Hong Kong.

Virtues of Harmony is a long-running sitcom from Hong Kong, lasting 322 episodes with two direct seasons. Produced by Tsui Yu On, the sitcom was a TVB production and aired five days a week from September 17, 2001 to December 28, 2002. The series chronicles the comical events and life of the Kam household, a rich family during a prosperous time in the Ming Dynasty of China. The series was inspired by the 2000 TVB comedy drama Colourful Life. Originally planned to be an 150-episode sitcom, an extra 200 episodes were added due to the sitcom's rating success. After the episode finale, a spin-off sequel, Virtues of Harmony II was released in 2003, as well as a spin-off musical, which starred the same cast.

Armed Reaction is a 1998 Hong Kong modern cop drama produced by TVB. The drama stars Bobby Au-yeung and Esther Kwan as the main leads with Joyce Tang, Marco Ngai, Mimi Chu and Joe Ma in main supporting roles. The drama takes place before 1997 Handover of Hong Kong and Royal Hong Kong Police revolves around the lives of two police woman, one who works leisurely behind desk duty but has to take her job more seriously once her husband leaves her and a new rookie cop who is deemed too ambitious and rash by her superior.

War of the Genders is a Hong Kong sitcom which aired on TVB Jade from 21 February to 7 July 2000. The series was produced by TVB with Tsui Chong-hong serving as the executive producer. An average of 3.1 million viewers watched the episode finale live, creating the highest rating average below the 2003 Charity Football Competition Real Madrid vs Hong Kong and tied with the 2005 Korean TV drama Dae Jang Geum and the 2008 TVB TV drama Moonlight Resonance.

Each day, night shift taxi driver Ma Kwai drives female doctor Chong Tsz-Yeuk to and from work on time, cherishing the moments they share, without realizing that he is meant to be her guardian. The Proud Twins is a mainland China and Hong Kong co-produced television series directed by Wong Jing, starring Dicky Cheung, Nicholas Tse, Fan Bingbing and Yuan Quan in the leading roles. The series is adapted from Gu Long's novel Juedai Shuangjiao. It was first broadcast in 2004 in mainland China.

When Kei recognizes the martial arts as a style similar to what the "Black Rose" uses, he suspects that Po-chu and her colleagues could be related to the cat burglar and decides to follow them closely.

Happy Ever After is a 1999 Hong Kong grand-production television period drama. A TVB production, the drama was produced by Chong Wai-kin, written by Chan Ching-yee and Choi Ting-ting, and stars an ensemble cast. The drama is set during the reign of the Qianlong Emperor of Late Imperial China's Qing dynasty. The drama tells of a story regarding the struggles of a poor chef and his best friend earning an opportunity to serve the Qianlong Emperor, also befriending the emperor along the way. The drama also places an emphasis on Chinese cuisine with documentations concerning the Manchu Han Imperial Feast. Happy Ever After acclaimed positive reviews from critics and was TVB's third highest-rating drama of 1999, peaking to 40 points. Happy Ever After was re-broadcast on the same channel in 2007 between January and March.

A Bride for a Ride is a 2009 Hong Kong television series based on the traditional Pingtan story of the same name. Set during the prosperous Ming Dynasty of China, the drama revolves around the rich and influential Wong family and their comedic ties with Chow Man-bun, a young and handsome scholar who has a specialty in cross-dressing. To prove his worth to Wong Sau-ying, his ideal lover, he cross dresses as a beauty in a lantern festival so he can get closer to her. Sau-ying's older brother, Tiger Wong, sees Man-bun's beauty and kidnaps him home. A Bride for a Ride consists of elements of Cantonese opera. Chin Kar-lok, who stars as Tiger Wong, is also the drama's action choreographer.

Sze Sai-lun becomes the new magistrate of Kong-do County. After a series of unresolved cases, the townspeople begin to see him as pathetic and useless. While Sai-lun was searching for evidence by a hillside, he accidentally injures himself, dropping blood on a mysterious pillow. Then, he had row with Bo (Bobby Au Yeung) who set him up and accused him of wrong doings which also involved Hung and his students. The eunuch with whom So had quarreled also appeared to get his revenge. What could So do?
