Monkey King, Pig and Friar Sand must rescue his master Buddhist monk from seven witches / spiders who believe themselves to be immortal if they eat the monk's flesh. The third part of the Shaw Brothers film series about Monkey King after the novel "Journey to the West."

Ostensibly a romantic comedy about mistaken identity, this film stars Kitty Ting Hao in two roles, the first as poor flower girl Fangfang and rich relation of a family in Hong Kong, who arrived in Hong Kong to see if she can feel better with the warmer climate. She meets Xihong, played by Kelly Lai Chen, who is the son in the family in Hong Kong. He is, of course, smitten with her, but when the secret is out, will he still feel the same?

A light-hearted comedy about a struggle between a maverick actress and her stubborn and conservative brother-in-law, which represents a debate between individualistic values and family obligations. Apparently the happy enlightenment of Li represents a triumph of the latter over the former. Li, Zhang and Lei Zhen, who plays the role of Li's husband, all showcase their distinctive personalities in their portraits of the characters.

China, year 1457. The Minister of Defense is executed, and his children are sentenced to exile by order of the tyrannical Tsao. Fearful of future revenge from the young people, Tsao sends cruel soldiers to murder them, but a brave group of swordsmen can change the course of the battle at the Dragon Inn.

The star crossed romance of Yu LiYing, an office worker at the local bottling plant, and Weiming (Kelly Lai Chen), an independently wealthy young man who likes Bonsai, has TB, and is likely to die in a few years. They meet when she is swimming with coworkers and sees him standing on a cliff above. She goes to him fearing he is going to commit suicide, then feels embarassed by the mistake. He, however, is smitten and soon they both fall for each other and marry despite his condition.

Iron Bones, about a young lad that learns a secret Tai Chi type of style called the Wind Palm, where you can kill with chi blows. Sure, it's a little crazy, but the acting is a big cut above most martial arts movies and the sword fights are pretty good. And Sam the Seed shows up, sans wig, as a dirtbag Shaolin monk after the book. Han Ying Chieh, the big boss, is one of the thugs in the background.

However, they both share an alter-ego called the Black Rose, a notorious cat burglar who dresses in a black leotard, and steals from the rich to give to the poor - taking on a Robin Hood-style mission. Even with their antihero status, the Black Rose has created uneasiness and tension in the high society; therefore, an insurance detective investigates the crimes and tries to unmask the woman behind the cat mask.

Meanwhile, Tiger Boy's chivalric quest is complicated when the maiden also sets out after him straight into peril in the enemy's own stronghold.

Perhaps the most notorious concubine in Chinese history, Yang Guifei set a pudgy standard of beauty in her days of glory during the Tang dynasty. The Emperor Minghuang was so besotted with the woman that when An Lushan stages his rebellion against the empire, the ruler takes Yang Guifei along with his imperial entourage in an escape to the mountainous area of modern-day Sichuan, and sanctuary of sorts.
