On New Year's Eve, three former punks toast their late bandmate at a distillery. Directed by Chris LaMartina, the film travels through eastern PA and the surrounding region, collecting stories of haunted places, restless dead, curses, witches, and things that were never meant to be disturbed. When Nathan receives a call from an estate-sale dealer who has discovered a box of mysterious tapes bearing ominous handwritten labels, he agrees to come pick them up. What begins as a simple errand becomes a journey through the forgotten corners of the region. Over the course of a single day, Nathan drives from one location to another, listening to the tapes as an unseen narrator recounts the strange histories and folk stories connected to each place. As each story unfolds, the soundtrack changes with it, turning the landscape itself into a series of haunted tableaux scored by The Marshmallow Ghosts.
