Unhappy with India's independence from the British, Raja Shamsher Singh and his goons, initially attempt to put their candidate, Shishupal, up for elections. After some hard-hitting action, finally Interpol successfully busts kamakazi's racket but the movie ends on a somewgat tragic note as Mari dies in this process and Himadri lives a lonely life.

Set during the 1857 War of Independence, an obsessed Indian Nawab desires to wed a young Anglo-Indian woman, but the girl's obstinate mother stands between them.

Samir Sahni is a farmer living with his mom, dad, wife, Rama, a young daughter, and his younger brother, Veer. Samir gets an offer to work in the U.K., and departs accordingly. He would like to settle there, and after doing so, would like his family to also join him. The years go by, and Samir keeps in touch with his family regularly. Then the Sahni family stop receiving any letters from him, and are anxious to know what has happened to him. Veer is asked to travel to U.K. to find out, and he does so. What he finds are tens of thousands of East Indians on fake passports, working for less than minimum wages, poor unhealthy conditions, fear of being deported, and paying half of their earnings to fellow East Indians who had got them here through the underground. In the year 1856, Nawab Wajid Ali Shah is the King of Awadh, one of the last independent kingdoms of India. The British intend to control this rich land and send General Outram to clear way for an annexation. Pressure is mounting amidst intrigue and political maneuvers, but the Nawab whiles away his time in pursuit of pleasure and religious practice. The court is of no help either — noblemen Mir and Mirza ignore all duties and spend their days playing endless games of chess.

Beautiful young heiress, Kajal, is the only daughter of wealthy industrialist Kishorilal. She has fond memories of her childhood male friend, Sanjay, and would like to meet him now, and get married to him, and thereby fulfill their promise they had made when they were children. She meets an eligible young man, who identifies himself as Manjeet Kumar Tana, and she likes him. This young man assures her that he will introduce her to her childhood sweetheart the next day. When she goes to meet Sanjay, she is shocked to find that the young man claiming to be Manjeet, is just a Manager, and it is then she gets to meet the real Manjeet, and both eventually fall in love with each other. But once again, Kajal's heart is broken, when she finds out that Manjeet's real name is Rajesh, and he is part of a deceptive plot that involves her abduction.

Refusing to follow his corrupt brother's bad example, a sincere, honest but buffoonish police cadet helps to rout a gang of organised criminals who are involved in treachery, kidnapping and murder.

Suraj, an NRI, moves back to India, only to realise that the caretaker of his property, Kalicharan, is now running a drug racket on his land. He helps the police force to track down Kalicharan.
