In their first year of high school, a girl named Mizumura and a boy named Sakahira fell into a swimming pool and mysteriously switched bodies. They live out each other's lives for 15 years, all through high school, college and beyond, and frequently exchange information about what's going on in their lives. Then, all of a sudden, Mizumura tells Sakahira that she might have found a way for them to switch back. But do they even want to do that at that point?

Saijo has an ability to see special glow around women who are in love. Kitashiro, his childhood friend, the only person that knows about his ability, has had a crush on him most of her life, but Saijo tells her that she doesn't emit light around him which leaves her at a loss. Meanwhile, their classmate Yadorigi, who has a habit of liking guys belonging to other women, mistakes Saijo as Kitashiro' s boyfriend and makes a move on him. One day, Saijo accidentally sees a notebook that belongs to Shinonome, a girl who is trying to explore the meaning of love. They start an exchange diary to discuss the topic, but Kitashiro feels uncomfortable watching them deepen their relationship. And when Yadorigi sees this, she decides that she too wants to start an exchange diary with them.

Lacking passion for anything in life, he spends his days like so many youth on his smartphone along with his childhood friend, Okamoto. One day, they upload a photo taken three years previously when they were both part of their school’s handball team. To their surprise, the post goes a little viral. Encouraged, they add the hashtag: “#Handball Full Power” and are swarmed with “likes” from around the country. Amidst the sudden social media attention, Masao and Okamoto set to resuscitating a nearly defunct men’s handball team.

Seven characters, introduced at the start of the film, get thrown together into the same hotel room: a thief who's stolen a suitcase of money from the mob, his ex-girlfriend, her obsessive boyfriend, the mob soldier sent to retrieve the briefcase, another mobster sent to kill them, master voyeur Captain Banana and his new apprentice, The Mister Yellow. Who will end up with the money?

While on a cigarette break in between sets, Koji, a jazz musician, witnesses a murder and runs into a girl, Linda, who is being pursued by the killers. Mistakenly identified as prime suspects, they have to solve the crime but time is running out: Koji has to be back to perform in his club by midnight, as a very special guest will be attending.

Three college girls arrive in the countryside in search of an area where marijuana grows. Hitchhiking, they stop the car of a suicidal man, who falls in love with one of the girls at first sight.
