The Candyman, a murderous soul with a hook for a hand, is accidentally summoned to reality by a skeptic grad student researching the monster's myth.

Trapped in a dangerous loop of bad luck and cheap motels, and under constant threat from her volatile pimp, prostitute Liz guides the audience through a high-stakes night on the streets. Through fourth-wall-breaking confessionals and gritty flashbacks, she reveals how she—a desperate mother—ended up selling her body to survive.
