Glenn Melenhorst

Glenn Melenhorst is a visual effects supervisor at Framestore Melbourne. Melenhorst is widely associated with HBO's fantasy drama Game of Thrones (2011-2019), where he served as a visual effects supervisor on multiple episodes. His work on the sixth-season episode "Battle of the Bastards" (2016) was especially notable for its integration of digital armies, environments, and simulation effects, earning industry recognition for both technical achievement and cinematic impact. He also contributed supervisory work to later episodes, including "The Spoils of War" (2017), which featured large-scale battle and destruction sequences. In feature films, Melenhorst has supervised visual effects on a range of productions that emphasise realistic digital augmentation.
