Known for Writing
Chan Hing-Kai is a writer-director and producer from Hong Kong. His screenwriting works include Heart to Hearts (1988), A Better Tomorrow (1986), Beast Cops (1998); and he directed and wrote La Brasserie (2001). In recent years, he has also served as a producer for First Feature Film Initiative projects such as Weeds on Fire (2016) and My Prince Edward (2019). He is also a part-time lecturer at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Baptist University, teaching courses on screenwriting and production.
