Famous ski stunt cameraman Willy Bogner's fourth movie features breathtaking pictures of extreme skiing, snowboarding and a lot of other things you don't want to try at your next skiing holiday. The story surrounding the whole thing is completely insignificant compared to the wonderful pictures. Nearly all the actors in the movie are world champions in their category. Willy Bogner's most famous work are probably the ski stunts in most of the James Bond movies.

Snow dancing and spectacular skiing stunts are showcased in this lively video program hosted by star skiers Suzy Chaffee and John Eaves. The antics are backed by the music of Alan Parsons, Harold Faltermaier, Gary Wright and John Denver. Much of the footage comes from the ski film Fire and Ice.

Their first meeting is a disaster: he falls off the ski lift, and when she jumps to rescue him, he leads her on a Key Stone Cops chase down the mountain. But John doesn't give up easily. He decides that if the only way to win her means following her across the country, then that's what he'll do. Starting in Manhattan, he trudges 3,000 miles through urban jungle and flatland desert, all the time fantasising about what they'll do when they're together.

A meek accountant is selected by a computer as the winner of a skiing race. Only problem is, he doesn't know how to ski.

Eva is the object of rich Sugar Daddy's affection. But while he showers her with gifts, she wants someone younger - namely Erich, who's more her style. Learning that Eva has left, the Sugar Daddy sends his chauffeur, Theo, to find her and Erich.

With his first film "Skifascination", Willy Bogner junior composed something unprecedented: a ski symphony of ski races, sketches and ski ballet. The world had never seen such an aesthetic combination of choreographed ski turns, brightly colored ski suits and emotional music in 1966! Shot in Ultrascope in the mountains around St. Moritz, the idea, script, production and camera shots were all the work of Willy Bogner. The spectacular images opened up completely new perspectives on skiing, which at the time was primarily seen as a high-speed sport. Willy added a romantic touch to skiing by combining it with beauty, harmony and fun. He didn't even need a continuous plot - snow, mountains and dancing on two boards were all he needed as the main characters!
