Fukuyama plays the extremely unique protagonist Kamio Takeshi, who has outstanding magic that has made him famous in Las Vegas and a skillful ability to observe people, but is also strict with money and lies as easily as he breathes. Furthermore, Kamio Mayo, the niece of Kamio Takeshi played by Fukuyama, who teams up with Takeshi after her father is killed by someone and works hard to solve the murder case, will be played by top actress Arimura Kasumi, who has brilliantly played a variety of roles from love stories to comedies and period dramas, and whose solid acting skills have captivated people!

Hagimoto Kinichi (Kin-chan), known as the "100% Viewer Rating Man," is a man who has made a brilliant contribution to the history of Japanese entertainment. This drama tells the story of Kin-chan and his wife, Sumiko (Sumi-chan). Half a year has passed since the official approval of TOKYO MER. Kitami is racking his brains over the issue of a second doctor to replace Otowa, who has left the team in order to expand MER to ordinance-designated cities nationwide. Some members of the team want Hina to be promoted, but Otowa asserts that Hina should pursue her path of cardiovascular surgery. Ryusei Takahashi is a young potter in Tobe, Ehime Prefecture, who pursues his own style. He takes part in a design contest for potters. Ryusei agonizes over the winning design, because he needs his father's help to create. His father is veteran potter Tatsumi Takahashi. Since his mother died, Ryusei and Tatsumi have been estranged.

Morita Katsuhiro is a bank employee who is married and has a child. His wife, one Morita Chika, picks up their son in order to visit her parents who live in Yamanashi Prefecture, which is in central Japan. In Neko Atsume no Ie, Atsushi Ito stars as Masaru Sakamoto, a novelist who moves to the countryside to try to combat a bad case of writer's block. While struggling to begin his next novel, Masaru spots a stray cat, which he decides to befriend. Masaru leaves food out for the pretty kitty, and before long his new home is covered in cats.

Three stories from Shiratsuna Island: "Mikan no hana" Shiratsuna Island is the only remaining island city in Japan, but it is being merged with a city on the opposite shore. Housewife Misato Tomita lives on the island. "Umi no hoshi" Yōhei Hamasaki, who was born on Shiratsuna Island, lives in an apartment in the outskirts of Tokyo with his wife, Tomomi, and their son, Taichi. "Kumo no ito" Popular artist Hirotaka Kurosaki, who is a native of Shiratsuna Island, goes back to his hometown after seven years.
