The TV-series included songs and sketches with education about letters, numbers, positions, etc. Fem myror är fler än fyra elefanter was broadcast first on 19 November 1973 on TV2 by Sveriges Television and it was also broadcast as Julkalendern 27 November –24 December 1977. Fem myror is able to buy on VHS and DVD and there are also PC games.

The segments for each letter were taken from the original series and afterwards they added a part where Magnus, Brasse, and Eva opened the door of the day. To manage to fit all letters in the alphabet, the calendar had 28 episodes (one for each letter) and started already before december, on november 27, which was the first of advent the year the calendar aired.
