Vetenskapens värld is a popular science TV documentary program broadcast on Swedish Television (SVT).

Allsång på Skansen is a Swedish tv show held at Skansen, Stockholm, every summer on Tuesdays. The audience is supposed to sing-along with musical guests to well-known Swedish songs. The show started in 1935 on a small scale - about fifty people in the audience. Today about 10 000–25 500 people come to each performance.

Alfie Atkins is a pretty ordinary guy who lives with his father. When he was younger he had an imaginary friend named Malcolm that only Alfie could see. Later on he finds real friends such as Milla and Victor. He also has a cat named Puzzle.

Hem till byn, written by Bengt Bratt, is Sweden's longest running TV series and one of its most popular. It is a realistic drama about people in a rural Swedish village and their daily life and romances and fights but also the consequenses of agricultural policy and other changes in the society. The series was first aired in 1971 and has since then been shown in eight seasons with three to five years between them, except a 14-year long intermission between 1976 and 1990. The 2006 season was likely the last. All the characters were played by the same actors throughout the series' run, and thus aged naturally with the actors. As the actors grew older and eventually died during the years, the characters that they played had also died at the start of the following season. The seven seasons between 1971 and 2002 were directed by Jackie Söderman and the eighth season of 2006 by Gun Jönsson, who herself portrayed one of the main characters in the series.

SVT's Christmas calendar from 1978, also known as "The Calendar House", follows Julius Julskötare, played by Björn Skifs. Julius takes viewers on visits to various fictional Christmas businesses and shows how they operate.

Albert & Herbert was a Swedish comedy series that ran in 1974, 1976–1979, 1981–1982, an advent series and a theatre play titled Mordet på Skolgatan 15, and had a spin-off series in 1995. Albert & Herbert, which featured father and son scrap-dealers living together, was an adaptation of Ray Galton and Alan Simpsons's BBC series Steptoe and Son from the 60s and 70s. Albert was played by Sten-Åke Cederhök, and the son Herbert played by Tomas von Brömssen. During the first six episodes, Herbert was played by Lennart Lundh. The characters lived in a dilapidated wooden house in Skolgatan 15, in Haga, Gothenburg.

Hedvig lives in a trailer in the woods and has a nose for learning new words. Helping her is Helge, an owl who lives on her roof.

Emil i Lönneberga is a Swedish television adaptation of Astrid Lindgren's Emil i Lönneberga books

Fem myror är fler än fyra elefanter was Sveriges Radio-TV:s advent calendar for the year 1977. The segments for each letter were taken from the original series and afterwards they added a part where Magnus, Brasse, and Eva opened the door of the day. To manage to fit all letters in the alphabet, the calendar had 28 episodes (one for each letter) and started already before december, on november 27, which was the first of advent the year the calendar aired.

In the end of 1939, the Soviet Union attacks Finland. In Sweden, 100.000 men are quickly drafted to guard the northeastern border. Men, who have almost no military training, are suddenly expected to behave as full-fledged soldiers. In one of the units we find 107 Andersson, 111 Loffe and a bunch of men with nicknames as Morsgrisen and Stora Norrland. After some months, the war in Finland is over, but World War II continues and the unit moves to the western border of Sweden, where the men have to stay for many years to come. Sweden is not at war, but some of the men are frightened that the Nazis will one day attack this country.

Edvard Munch is a 1974 biographical film about the Norwegian Expressionist painter Edvard Munch, written and directed by Peter Watkins. It was originally created as a three-part miniseries co-produced by the Norwegian and Swedish state television networks NRK and SVT, but subsequently gained an American theatrical release in a three-hour version in 1976. The film covers about thirty years of Munch's life, focusing on the influences that shaped his art, particularly the prevalence of disease and death in his family and his youthful affair with a married woman. The film was screened at the 1976 Cannes Film Festival, but wasn't entered into the main competition.

Skyll inte på mig! was a Swedish television comedy series starring Magnus Härenstam and Brasse Brännström, produced in 1977, and like Fleksnes fataliteter based on Galton and Simpson's scripts for the British series Hancock's Half Hour, translated and directed by Bo Hermansson.

Pojken med guldbyxorna is a 1975 Swedish TV-series, based on an 1967 novel by Max Lundgren, that became very popular in Sweden and has since been shown numerous times on Swedish television. The version now broadcast on TV4 Guld consists of episodes cut into 30 minutes each. The plot revolves around a boy who discovers that he is able to pull an infinite number of banknotes from the pockets of his jeans.
