The story evolves around four women. The two lead characters, Vera and Gilda, middle-class women, are poor but ambitious. They face the bourgeois characters, Helena and Diva.

Only a fragment of the film survives. Taking advantage of Carnival season, Álvaro devises a Machiavellian plan to seduce a young woman. When she shows up at his house to deliver a bundle of clothes, he shows her a beautiful gigolo dress and invites her to the town's dances. They would only be for two or three hours. Liz accepts, and together they go out dressed as a gigolo, he as an Apache. Liz has fun with Álvaro, and at one point, they decide to go to the beach. Dizzy from champagne and dancing, she loses consciousness, waking up alone. Desperate, Liz runs to Álvaro's house and discovers that he has left for the north. Disoriented, she wanders the streets until she meets Maneco, an employee of Dr. Elzman. Maneco takes her to the doctor's house, and Liz tells him everything that happened. The doctor, fond of the young woman, decides to protect her.

A young man from Rio who, down on his luck in the capital, takes a job as manager of a sugar mill in the country, where he finds love with the mill owner’s daughter. The former manager, who had been demoted for incompetence, becomes jealous and tries to sabotage the mill.

She spent her time outings with Laura, a highly experienced aviator and her childhood friend. The factory's growing crisis forced the shareholders to meet frequently. Employee layoffs were inevitable. Antonio Martins was a young shareholder who spent most of his time in clubs and cabarets. Introduced to Clarinda, he began to court her, eventually declaring his love. But Clarinda thought of no other affection than that of her adoptive father.

A farm owner had a son, Vivia, who played with a settler's daughter. The two grew up together and became very fond of each other; over time, their friendship blossomed into love. Then the father sent the boy to study in the capital. Gigi suffered greatly from his absence and spent her time waiting for his return. Finally, the big day arrived: she learned that the boy was returning. He did return, but he was accompanied by someone else: to marry a girl from the capital. As soon as he arrived, the boy sent for Gigi to introduce her to his wife. This is where the story reached its climax; Gigi resisted the news of the wedding, but could not withstand the final blow. The pain was so great that Gigi poisoned herself and died.

A girl sings very well, but no one believes her; a country hillbilly in love with her pays a cabaret owner to let her sing. She is a success, but the country hillbilly has to settle for being just her friend.

A young woman is told by her dying father about a treasure he left for her buried in the woods. Later, after helping a man assaulted by a gangster, she confides in him her hidden inheritance. Unfortunately, a bandid listens to the whole conversation, and a race for the treasure ensues.

A 1923 Brazilian silent comedy film directed by Luiz de Barros, now considered a Lost Film. Augusto Aníbal Quer Casar is recognized as the first portrayal of an LGBT character in Brazilian cinema history.

Julio is enchanted by a coffee shop attendant and confuses himself with a bad element. To get revenge, the thug kills his sister and kidnaps the waitress. Classic representative of the Ciclo do Recife.

Night guard Alberto, whose greatest ambition was to be a reporter, tries to clear a friend accused of a crime. With the help of his friend Ernesto, he investigates the events linked to the crime and is pursued by the real criminal. Jaime, the bandit, before dying confesses to the crime, after a plane chase in which he fell to the ground, with Ernesto in pursuit. Ernesto had moved from one plane to another, using a rope ladder and managed to stay attached to the plane's wings, saving himself.

Film based on the book "O Gaúcho" by the writer José de Alencar.

The fisherman Aitaré courts Cora, an innocent girl from a small village. Several disagreements separate the heroes, until the expected happy ending. The film shows both the beautiful beaches of the region and the sophisticated milieu of the aristocracy in Recife. The clash between tradition and modernity can been seen in an obvious way in the film.

A farmer from the countryside goes to Rio de Janeiro with his family in search of his daughter's fiancé, who was in the Federal Capital gambling, going to cabarets and dating a ballerina. The farmer also gets involved in many adventures. In the end, he and Gouveia, the fiancé, regret their decision and return to their family.

A hillbilly and an Italian leave the countryside, go to São Paulo and are scammed by a crook. They end up being chased by a police officer, and without a penny in their pockets, they end up returning to the countryside. It's considered a lost film, but a reconstituted version was made by researchers at the Universidade Federal Fluminense.

Seeing a black knight, the young man Álvaro runs after him. During the race, the knight falls and he discovers that it is a girl. The two end up falling in love.

A Recife society couple, while visiting a painting exhibition, recognizes, in a painting depicting a gypsy girl, their daughter, who had been kidnapped by gypsies as a child. The painter informs them that the girl is part of the Bentes Lemano gang. The parents go to the police, who arrest the gang, including Artur. Their identities are clarified. Despite her parents' opposition, the heroine ends up marrying Maurício.

It starts between two children: Júlia and Augusto. He comes back later, after graduating, and they revive the flame of yore. Júlia's father refuses Augusto's request and contracts her marriage with a farmer, his friend. The girl is poisoned. Her father injures Augusto. Julia does not die, because she has only taken a narcotic.

Hugo, upon seeing this beautiful young woman with such sweet eyes, is attracted to her, begins to fall in love with her. And, seizing a lucky opportunity, he invites her to dinner together at a restaurant located on the Exhibition grounds. Just then, a daring man appears and tries to flirt with his young companion.

In Recife, Dr. Paulo is an important lawyer that has a daughter, Heloísa, with his paramour and living in the country. A few days before traveling to Europe, Dr. Paulo asks to a close friend to bring Heloísa to Recife. Meanwhile, his bohemian and irresponsible son Helvécio meets Heloísa, and without knowing that she is his sister, he tries to rape her, and she kills him. Heloísa is arrested and goes to trial without any evidence to prove that she self-defended her honor.

A jewel thief who goes so far as to steal his own wife's jewels. During his escape, he goes through a series of adventures and incidents, leading to the exhibition of landscapes of São Paulo, Alto de Santana and Rio de Janeiro.

The story takes place in the small town of São João, on the border between two states. The tax inspector has always hidden his innermost sorrows from his daughter, who is charmingly beautiful and youthful. These are the result of a mysterious decrease in income at the Post Office, caused by the criminal activity of a gang of smugglers led by an elegant, cunning and cowardly man. An engineer working for the State arrives in the town of São João. Unexpectedly, a brief romance begins between him and the inspector's daughter. The cunning smuggler leader also takes an interest in the young woman. He is not reciprocated. Jealousy and then hatred arise.

A Brazilian style Western inspired by the young director's fondness for American films.

This movie was completely destroyed and there are only three fragments of this film, with less than 30 seconds (total). The movie has a great influence of the North American movies, and the gorgeous Eva Nil plays a kind of female version of "Tom Mix", wearing two colts and protecting the needy people.

Two workers in a coffee plantation, a young and an old man, are fired by the farm's foreman. But the young man saves the life of the landlord's daughter and both men are readmitted. The girl and her saviour fall in love and the foreman tries to kill the young guy, but ends up dying. Later the youth finds out that the foreman was responsible for his mother's death.
