    Television adaptation of the literary classic by Alexandre Dumas. After being unjustly arrested and convicted of treason, Edmundo Dantés manages to escape from the Château d'If prison after 14 years of captivity. When Edmundo manages to find it and dig it up, he decides to start a revenge against those who ruined his life, for which he assumes the identity of the powerful Count of Monte Cristo.
